Church Women United of Mesa Group Meets

Thirteen women came together on Friday, December 5th to work on some projects for The Salvation Army in Mesa. They helped with the process of making mats out of plastic bags for those who live on the streets in Mesa. They also put scarves, mittens, and hats into blankets, and wrapped them with a card, also for those who are on the streets. These women come from various denominations and several different churches, but their love for the Lord Jesus Christ unites them. They meet once a month in a different location, and each month has its own specific purpose. They help out in projects that different churches need help with, pray with one another, encourage each other, and minister to one another. It is a blessing for each woman who participates. The Mesa Salvation Army is thankful to host this group and to participate with these women.
